Happy Hour is not to get you drunk or make you fall in love with us. It is there for a toddy or two at the end of the day, meeting some of our great guests, and getting ready for another fantastic night in Key West .

Our self serve open bar includes rum, gin, vodka, orange juice, cranberry juice, tonic, soda water, coca cola & diet coca cola (no beer or wine). Of course, we offer only the finest inexpensive liquor.

We have about twenty spaces of off-street parking and about forty rooms. So, it's first come first serve, folks. There is quite a bit of parking in the neighborhood and (worst case scenario) a garage a couple of blocks away.

Our bikes are first come first serve.
We don't take reservations for them.

We are not the least expensive bike rental on the Island , but we are the most convenient.

Effie's is our gift shop located off the lobby. Wander in. It's always open. If you need something, let us know. We can also assist you with bookings, reservations, bike rentals, and any other questions about our beautiful island.

In the gift shop we always have a wide variety of Eden House monogrammed robes, towels, hats, and t-shirts as well as geckos, coconut fish, and puffer fish. If you would like to order anything, give us a call or drop us an e-mail.

I want all our guests to feel like you're at home. As far as I'm concerned, you are at home. I've always hated rules, signs and policies, but as we've grown, I feel we need them. So, here are some of our policies and requests. We hope you won't find them too restrictive and will respect them:

• Please - Quiet from 10 pm to 10 am
• Please - Clean up after yourself
• Please - Recycle when possible
• Please - Check out time is 11 am
• Please - Remember your housekeepers
• Please - Speak softly to the plants
• Please - When using the a/c, close the transoms (air vents)
• Please - No smoking in the buildings

We have a front desk clerk on duty 24 hours a day. If you have any question (there is no such thing as a stupid question) or if a disturbance occurs, call the desk immediately.

Feel free to roam and enjoy all the property. We have hammocks in the back, a great Veranda on the second floor front of the main building and the elevated sun deck at the end of the pool. If you smoke, we'd appreciate it if you would smoke out of doors.

You are welcome to hang by the pool after you have checked out. Feel free to use the public shower upstairs (get a towel & soap from the front desk) before you leave. We want you refreshed for the trip north.
