With the weather you guys are getting up there you might be interested in the Verilux Natural Spectrum lamp. I might add, it has been damn cold here lately too.
I have sent one of these lamps to my sister in Michigan, Heather Clark (glass girl working on her Masters Degree in Portland, Oregon) and my daughter when she was in Olympia, Washington. They work great and you only need an hour or so exposure a day. I also recommend taking a high dose of Vitamin D daily too. ‘D’ is the new wonder drug/vitamin and is good for anything and everything. Check it out on the web - there is lots of info on it and all good from what I read.
Anyone out there using this lamp or one like it and have an opinion to share? Stay in touch, Mike

Hey Mike, I gave Lisa a Verilux lamp a few years ago to use in her office. Sure helps out on the long dark winter days. She really likes it. As far as the weather… I’ll swap for your ‘cold’ weather any day, we haven’t been above freezing since Christmas and probally won’t see any change until next week. Not to mention the snow that’s on it’s way tonight!!!
Stay warm, Buddy.

Don’t have one of those lamps Mike, but will agree that it is cold up here. Looking forward to our November stay with you. I know you’ll have a cold Bud waiting for us. Be safe.
